{"id":16463,"date":"2023-06-15T12:35:30","date_gmt":"2023-06-15T10:35:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/torresycarrera.com\/?p=16463"},"modified":"2023-07-03T06:49:35","modified_gmt":"2023-07-03T06:49:35","slug":"finalista-ipra-gwa-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/torresycarrera.com\/en\/finalista-ipra-gwa-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"IPRA GWA 2023 Finalists"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"16463\" class=\"elementor elementor-16463 elementor-16366\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-0633bda elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default qodef-elementor-content-no\" data-id=\"0633bda\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-b038d3d\" data-id=\"b038d3d\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-63cc704 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"63cc704\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Our campaign <strong>\u201cTo North For Truth\u200b\u201d<\/strong> has been selected as a finalist by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipra.org\/golden-world-awards\/enter\/\"><strong>International Public Relations Association<\/strong><\/a> (IPRA) for its GWA 2023 in the <strong>Corporate Responsibility<\/strong> category.<\/p><p>Developed around the impact of lies in the initiation and progress of the war in Ukraine, the &#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/torresycarrera.com\/al-norte-por-la-verdad\/\">\u00a0To North For Truth&#8221;<\/a> project is the name of a <strong>corporate engagement and research<\/strong> work conceived as a 360\u00ba campaign, combining <strong>digital listening<\/strong> in eight EU countries (plus Russia and Ukraine), with <strong>demoscopic analysis<\/strong> conducted by Eurostat in the same territories and <strong>interviews<\/strong> with European thinkers both sympathetic and critical of the Russian invasion.<\/p><p>Moreover, this site composition was developed in parallel to the trip of part of the T&amp;C team to the Medyka border in Poland, in order to get a feel for the reality of those <strong>displaced by the war<\/strong> and to activate <strong>humanitarian aid<\/strong> on the ground.<\/p><p>The conclusions of this first phase of work served to involve the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucm.es\/\"><strong>Complutense University of Madrid<\/strong><\/a> in a climate study among the university community, focusing on the danger posed by post-truth and denialism to the reputation of the academy and of facts based on scientific evidence. The whole project was presented in June 2022 at the European Parliament office in Madrid.<\/p><h5><strong>The fourth consecutive time being IPRA WGA Finalists<\/strong><\/h5><p>Since the start in 2020 of our <strong>research cycle<\/strong> on the phenomenon of <strong>fake news and disinformation <\/strong>in a tired society, our campaigns &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/torresycarrera.com\/komoda-el-documental\/\"><strong>K\u00f3moda, life without energy<\/strong><\/a><strong>&#8220;,<\/strong> <strong>&#8220;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/torresycarrera.com\/mas-del-70-de-la-sociedad-considera-que-las-redes-sociales-mienten\/\"><strong>Snakes<\/strong><\/a><strong> Project<\/strong> &#8221; and &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/torresycarrera.com\/el-esperpento\/\"><strong>Distorted reality<\/strong><\/a>&#8221; have been awarded three IPRA GWA, considered the Oscars of global communication.<\/p><p>Thus, this selection as finalists in 2023, completes a series of four consecutive years that places us as one of the <strong>most internationally awarded Spanish communication firms<\/strong> and, it is worth mentioning, that &#8221; To North For Truth&#8221; also obtained an Honourable Mention in the ESG 2023 awards of the American platform <a href=\"https:\/\/torresycarrera.com\/social-impact-awards-reconocimiento-tyc\/\">PR News<\/a> last February.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our campaign \u201cTo North For Truth\u200b\u201d has been selected as a finalist by the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) for its GWA 2023 in the Corporate Responsibility category.
