En estas regiones el remo est\u00e1 fundamentalmente arraigado en la modalidad de <strong>banco fijo<\/strong> -donde el asiento del remero es una tabla fija, anclada al barco- debido, en gran parte, a su <strong>tradici\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica y vinculaci\u00f3n con la actividad pesquera<\/strong>.<\/p><p>A todos los deportes se les presupone esfuerzo, constancia y sacrificio, pero en el caso del remo, hay algo de heroico en esas competiciones y en esos entrenos marcados por las condiciones clim\u00e1ticas y las del propio mar, el terreno de juego que define el devenir de las embarcaciones.<\/p><p>Pero todav\u00eda es m\u00e1s heroico si cabe estar al frente de un modesto Club como el <a href=\"http:\/\/crchapela.com\/\"><strong>Club de Remo Chapela<\/strong><\/a>, una entidad creada hace ya 40 a\u00f1os en una localidad que siempre ha vivido por y cara el mar.<\/p><p>En 1984, un grupo de vecinos del municipio <strong>crearon esta asociaci\u00f3n deportiva dando respuesta a la demanda de unos chavales<\/strong> y dejando sin saberlo un gran legado con un deporte de proximidad que transmite importantes valores.<\/p><p>Pues bien, la mitad de esos 40 a\u00f1os son los que <strong>Julio Prado<\/strong>, su presidente hasta hace unos d\u00edas, lleva vinculado al Club. Una figura con gran peso en el \u00e1mbito administrativo y deportivo, pero tambi\u00e9n en el personal, ya que en una asociaci\u00f3n deportiva modesta hay que ser todo un<strong> experto en resolver problemas y tambi\u00e9n tener mucha humanidad<\/strong> para hacer frente a las diferentes sensibilidades y situaciones personales de los deportistas.<\/p><p>Abordar arreglos en las instalaciones, buscar financiaci\u00f3n y ayudas p\u00fablicas, reforzar las categor\u00edas base y sumar a sus filas a cualquier joven que quiera formar parte del Club independientemente de cuestiones econ\u00f3micas o log\u00edsticas de las familias. Esta labor oculta, pero a la vez \u00e9pica, es la que le ha hecho merecedor del mejor de los homenajes en su jubilaci\u00f3n por parte de su gente y los vecinos de Chapela.<\/p><p>Muchas veces <strong>se rema tambi\u00e9n desde tierra<\/strong> y en esto Julio es todo un experto, por lo que podemos decir que siempre nos tendr\u00e1 entre su tripulaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Seg\u00fan datos del Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD), en 2022, se registraron 15.266 licencias federadas vinculadas a la pr\u00e1ctica de remo, 2.956 en Galicia.
