Torres y Carrera nominated for best Iberian agency of the year at the EMEA SABRE Awards
We started March in the best possible way as finalists in the Iberian Consulting of the Year category of the EMEA SABRE Awards 2023, along with four other consultancy firms (LLYC, Edelman, Marco Group and Canela). These awards, given each year by PRovoke Media, are one of the benchmark platforms for the PR and communications sector worldwide.
In the words of our president Paula Carrera: “This nomination comes at the same time as our 20th anniversary with all that this means for the team, the real driving force of our company”.
In these two decades of Torres y Carrera’s history, we have positioned ourselves among the most outstanding consultancy firms in terms of innovation and social commitment. In 2003, we were born and we took the floor to seek that differential fact. Ten years later we claimed “10 years of words with meaning”. And now, in 2023, T&C returns to the epicentre of our world: to the word, to its meaning. Hence the motto for our 20th anniversary is “The word weighs”.
With the weight of the word, we have built a great organisation, made up of a team of more than 60 professionals, and we have achieved our global objective, operating in Madrid, Barcelona, Vigo, Valencia and Mexico City and leading a network of independent agencies, COMbyCOM, which provides our clients with teams on the ground in a large part of Latin America”, Paula concludes.
20 years of national and international recognition
With more than 50 national and international awards, T&C is one of the most recognised Spanish agencies in the sector, especially for research projects. We have won an IPRA Golden World Award on six occasions. The first in 2004 for a citizen think tank. The last one, in 2022 for our social research on fake news and hoaxes circulating on social networks, which was the third consecutive IPRA for our own research.
Iberian Consultancies of the Year 2023
The 2023 EMEA PR Consultancies of the Year are the result of an extensive research process that involved more than 200 submissions and meetings with top PR firms in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. The winners will be announced at the EMEA SABRE Awards 2023, which will take place in Frankfurt on 23 March.
