IPRA GWA 2023 Finalists

Our campaign “To North For Truth​” has been selected as a finalist by the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) for its GWA 2023 in the Corporate Responsibility category.

Developed around the impact of lies in the initiation and progress of the war in Ukraine, the ”  To North For Truth” project is the name of a corporate engagement and research work conceived as a 360º campaign, combining digital listening in eight EU countries (plus Russia and Ukraine), with demoscopic analysis conducted by Eurostat in the same territories and interviews with European thinkers both sympathetic and critical of the Russian invasion.

Moreover, this site composition was developed in parallel to the trip of part of the T&C team to the Medyka border in Poland, in order to get a feel for the reality of those displaced by the war and to activate humanitarian aid on the ground.

The conclusions of this first phase of work served to involve the Complutense University of Madrid in a climate study among the university community, focusing on the danger posed by post-truth and denialism to the reputation of the academy and of facts based on scientific evidence. The whole project was presented in June 2022 at the European Parliament office in Madrid.

The fourth consecutive time being IPRA WGA Finalists

Since the start in 2020 of our research cycle on the phenomenon of fake news and disinformation in a tired society, our campaigns “Kómoda, life without energy“, “Snakes Project ” and “Distorted reality” have been awarded three IPRA GWA, considered the Oscars of global communication.

Thus, this selection as finalists in 2023, completes a series of four consecutive years that places us as one of the most internationally awarded Spanish communication firms and, it is worth mentioning, that ” To North For Truth” also obtained an Honourable Mention in the ESG 2023 awards of the American platform PR News last February.
